DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: Overnight Flight
Depart for Europe.
DAY 2: London
Arrive in the Theater Capital of the World and meet your tour manager. Kick off your tour with a welcome reception and dinner this evening. (D)
DAY 3: London
This morning's walking tour takes in sights and sounds from London's rich history of theater. Following your free afternoon, enjoy a professional performance at the National Theatre. (B)
DAY 4: London
See behind the curtain this morning on a backstage tour at the National Theatre. Then it's back out to the front of the house for a matinee performance in the West End. The evening is free for you to enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants this city has to offer. (B)
DAY 5: London
This morning, enjoy time to explore London's many museums or shops as you please. In the afternoon indulge your love of the theatrical arts with a performance at Shakespeare's famous Globe Theatre. Discuss the day over dinner after the show tonight. (B,D)
DAY 6: Stratford-Upon-Avon
Leave London and set out to explore Oxford, the location of the oldest and grandest of England's universities. A walking tour of the town from its bustling High Street to its leafy back lanes and a visit to Christ Church College are included. Continue to the Bard's home town of Stratford-upon-Avon for dinner. DAY 7: Stratford-Upon-Avon
This morning's walking tour of Stratford-upon-Avon with your tour manager includes a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace, home to a fine collection of early editions of his work. Tonight, see the Royal Shakespeare Company perform one of the Bard's plays. (B,D)
DAY 8: Bath
Spend your morning soaking up the old-world charm of Stratford-upon-Avon. Then, drive through the hilly landscape of the Cotswolds to Bath. Spend your free evening among the Roman and Georgian architectural buildings of this impressive city. (B)
DAY 9: Waterford
Why not visit the Roman baths for which the city is named on your free morning? Alternatively, browse the shops of Pulteney Bridge and visit the exclusive Royal Crescent. After lunch journey by ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. Arrive in Ireland's first city, Waterford, this evening. (B,L)
DAY 10: Dublin
Discover the long history of the world-famous crystal on a Waterford Crystal factory tour this morning. Be sure to pick up some souvenirs for friends and family! On your way to Dublin, stop in the medieval town of Kilkenny where you will have free time for lunch. This evening enjoy dinner and an evening at the theater in Dublin. (B,D)
DAY 11: Dublin
This morning's sightseeing tour reveals the many aspects of Dublin's history—from ancient beginnings through Georgian splendors, to Ireland's thriving modern economy. Highlights of the tour include St. Patrick's Cathedral and Trinity College. This afternoon, you may explore on your own, perhaps with a visit to the Guinness Brewery.
